The regeneration process involves using the salt in the salt tank to flush the resin layer, displacing the hardness ions on the resin and discharging them out of the tank with the regeneration waste liquid. Thus, the resin regains its ability to exchange soft water.

When the total water production volume reaches the set periodic water production volume, the controller starts the regeneration program for automatic regeneration. The regeneration of the equipment is independent of the operating time and is generally suitable for occasions with unstable water consumption and continuous water use.
