Iii. Working Principle of Security Filters
Security filtration uses formed filter materials. The raw liquid passes through the filter material, the filter residue remains on the wall of the filter material, and the filtrate passes through the filter material and flows out, thus achieving the purpose of filtration.
The formed filter materials include: filter cloth, filter screen, filter sheet, sintered filter tube, wound filter element, melt-blown filter element, microporous filter element and multi-functional filter element. The pore size of the filter varies due to the difference in filter materials. Precision filtration is a type of filtration that lies between sand filtration (coarse filtration) and ultrafiltration, with a filtration pore size generally ranging from0.1-120μmScope. Filter materials of the same form are further classified into different specifications based on their external dimensions. There are two types of wound filter elements (also known as honeycomb filter elements) : one is made of polypropylene fiber-Polypropylene skeleton filter element, high operating temperature60℃; Another type is absorbent cotton fiber-Stainless steel frame filter element, high operating temperature120℃.
