Pretreatment is often composed of quartz sand filtration devices, activated carbon filtration devices, and precision filtration devices. The main purpose is to remove sand, rust, colloidal substances, suspended solids, pigments, odors, biochemical organic matter contained in the raw water, and reduce the residual ammonia value and other harmful substances in the water. When the content of calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water is relatively high, a water softening device needs to be added. The main purpose is to protect the reverse osmosis membrane in the subsequent stage from damage by large particles, thereby extending the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane.
