2. Poor salt absorption or no salt absorption

In terms of equipment installation, since the length of the pipes needs to be determined on site and the appropriate length needs to be cut manually, a common problem that occurs on site is that the pipe length is not cut appropriately. If the pipe is too long, the soft water control head cannot be strictly sealed with the tank, resulting in water leakage at the tank opening. If the pipe is too short, it will cause water near the resin layer not to pass through, commonly known as water flow short circuit (a sound of water flow can be heard at the tank opening during equipment operation), and the hardness of the effluent water will exceed the standard. Before installing the pipe, it is necessary to position it first. Then, measure the required length by referring to the depth of screwing in the control head. Cut it flat with a hacksaw. The cross-section should be even, smooth and free of burrs. For soft water tanks with diameters exceeding800mmThe equipment, the lower water distributor is of the main pipe and branch pipe type. The installation of the branch pipes is also carried out on site. It is required that the branch pipes must be tightened to prevent them from falling off under the impact of water flow and causing resin leakage.

Three. The regeneration process does not absorb salt or absorbs salt very slowly

Low water supply pressure, clogged brine filter, clogged brine suction pipe, and clogged water ejector are several possible reasons for poor salt suction during regeneration. The inspection methods are as follows in sequence: First, check the pressure gauge on the water inlet pipe to confirm that the inlet water pressure is qualified. Then, inspect the salt suction pipe (transparent plastic pipe) to see if there is any blockage. Next, unscrew the salt water filter, disassemble it and rinse it with clean tap water. If the problem still cannot be solved, you need to disassemble the upper sealing cover of the water jet and rinse it with clean tap water. Generally, the above steps can solve the problem. Note: When installing the upper sealing cover of the water ejector, it must be done when the water ejector is fully filled with water to avoid air inside the water ejector causing air resistance. If the salt suction pipeline frequently gets clogged, it indicates that the content of insoluble impurities in the regeneration salt is too high. The general requirement for regeneration salt is industrial salt without iodine, and the fewer impurities in the salt, the better.

Iv. Resin leakage

It occurs during the water production or regeneration process of the water softenerIon exchangeResin leakage (resin enters the soft water tank. Or if it flows out along with the sewage, it is called resin leakage. The common reasons for resin leakage during water production are pipe rupture, the detachment or rupture of the lower water distributor, and a large amount of resin entering the soft water tank. It is easy to find out by disassembling the resin tank and pulling out the pipe for inspection. If there is any damage, the damaged part can be replaced. The main reasons for resin leakage during the regeneration process (resin flowing out with the blowdown water) are the rupture of the upper water distributor and the excessively high pressure and fast flow rate of the backwash water. Under the condition that the upper water distributor is not damaged, reducing the flow rate of the backwash water can solve the problem.

Five. Insufficient periodic output or rapid output attenuation

The main reason for insufficient periodic output or rapid decline in periodic output of a water softener is "resin poisoning". Common causes of poisoning include the use of iodized salt during regeneration or high iron content in the feed water (this problem is more likely to occur at the end of municipal water supply networks or in users who use groundwater). When resin poisoning occurs, the first step is to stop using iodized salt. The groundwater for high-speed rail should be pre-treated to remove iron. For the already poisoned resin, regeneration treatment should be carried out. The regeneration treatment of the poisoned resin should be conducted by dedicated personnel.

Six. The water softener cannot regenerate automatically

The common reason for the water softener not regenerating automatically is the damage of the flowmeter that controls regeneration. The main cause of the flowmeter damage is improper operation. When setting the flow disk and the regeneration program time, if the flow wire is not unpulled, it is very easy to cause damage to the variable speed gear set in the flowmeter. This point must be noted by everyone during use. When a flowmeter is damaged, it can only be replaced. If the manual flowmeter wire can drive the regeneration program but the regeneration cannot continue automatically, it indicates that there is a fault in the circuit or motor of the water softener control head. It should be inspected or the parts replaced by a dedicated maintenance person.

Seven. The regeneration process is disordered and cannot regenerate well

The regeneration program is in disorder and the equipment cannot operate The main reason for the disorder of the regeneration program in a normally debugged water softener is caused by a power outage.FLECKRequirements for water softeners24There is no power outage for hours.
