As granular salt contains some impurities, these impurities will deposit in large quantities at the bottom of the salt tank and clog the salt valve. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the impurities at the bottom of the salt tank regularly. When cleaning, fully open the drain valve at the bottom of the salt tank and rinse it with clean water until no impurities flow out.

  4Maintenance out of service. Before the water softening equipment is out of use, it should undergo another resin regeneration treatment. During the summer when it is out of use, the water softening equipment should be flushed at least once a month to prevent the excessive reproduction of microorganisms in the exchange tank, which may cause the resin to mold and form lumps. If mold is found on the resin, it should be dealt with promptly. When the resin is not in use during winter, anti-freezing measures should be taken to prevent the water inside from freezing and cracking. The resin can be stored in a salt water solution, and the concentration of the salt water should be adjusted according to the stability of the climate.
