As solid granular table salt contains a certain amount of impurities, a large amount of impurities will deposit at the bottom of the salt tank and clog the salt valve. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the impurities at the bottom of the salt tank regularly. When cleaning, you can open the drain valve at the bottom of the salt tank and rinse it with clean water until no impurities flow out. The cleaning cycle of the salt tank should be determined based on the impurity content of the solid particle salt.

  3.Regularly check the airtightness of the jet injector and the salt suction pipeline to prevent air leakage that may affect the regeneration effect.

  4.The water softener should be disassembled once a year to clean the impurities in the upper and lower water distributors and the quartz sand gasket, and to check the resin loss and exchange capacity. Replace the severely aged resin, and for the resin poisoned by iron, it can be revived with hydrochloric acid solution.

  5.When the ion exchanger is not in use, it should be soaked in salt water to ensure the temperature of the resin1-45It is not dehydrated.

  6.Ensure that the water is not contaminated, especially iron ions, which must not enter the resin tank, as the resin is afraid of iron ions.

  7.Make sure there are not too many impurities such as sand in the water. Too many impurities in the water are not good for the control valve and will shorten its service life.

  For the shutdown maintenance of water softening equipment, the following signs of work are indispensable:

  1.Before the water softening equipment is out of use for a long time, the resin should be fully regenerated once to convert it into sodium form for wet maintenance.

  2.When the water softener is not in use during summer, it should be flushed at least once a month to prevent the growth of microorganisms in the exchange tank, which could cause the resin to mold and clump. If mold is found on the resin, it can be dealt with.

  3.When the resin is not in use during winter, anti-freezing measures should be taken to prevent the water inside from freezing and causing the resin to crack and break. The resin can be stored in a salt water solution, and the concentration of the salt water should be prepared according to the temperature conditions.
