Replace the severely aged resin and use hydrochloric acid solution to revive the poisoned resin.

Ensure the stability of the input voltage and current of the water softener to prevent the electrical control device from burning out. A sealed cover should be installed on the outside of the electronic control device to prevent moisture and water immersion.

Regularly add solid industrial salt particles to the salt tank to ensure that the industrial salt solution in the tank is in a supersaturated state. When adding salt, be careful not to sprinkle solid salt particles into the salt well to prevent salt Bridges from forming on the salt valve and blocking the salt suction pipeline.

Ii. Maintenance of Water Softeners When They are Not in Use

Before the equipment is shut down, the ion exchange resin in the tank should be fully regenerated once to convert the resin into sodium form for wet maintenance.

If the water softener is not used in summer, it should be flushed at least once a month to prevent the growth of microorganisms in the exchange tank, which may cause the resin to mold and clump.

When the resin is not in use during winter, anti-freezing measures should be taken to prevent the water inside from freezing and causing the resin to crack and break. The resin can be stored in a salt water solution, and the concentration of the salt water should be prepared according to the temperature conditions.
