Precision filters, also known as security filters, perform their filtering function through the principle of built-in filter elements. This filter uses formed filter materials. Under the action of pressure, distant water passes through the filter materials, while the filter residue is retained on the wall of the filter materials. The treated water flows out through the filter materials, thus achieving an excellent filtration effect. Precision filters are widely used in water treatment fields such as electronics, chemistry, and seawater desalination.

  I.Precision filterOperating Procedures

  1Before using the filter, it is necessary to check whether the processing capacity of the previous equipment and the positions of each valve are correct.

  2The process flow of the filter can be found in the process flow chart.

  3When the equipment is put into operation for the first time, the exhaust valve should be opened first, and the filter water inlet valve should be slightly opened to introduce water into the equipment. When water overflows from the exhaust valve, the exhaust valve should be closed. Then slowly open the filter outlet valve and the filter inlet valve, and keep them open until the equipment enters normal filtration operation.

  4When the water pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter is greater than0.1MPaWhen the flow rate drops significantly, the filter element should be considered for replacement.

  5When replacing the filter element, the original filter element inside the filter should be removed first, and the plastic bag of the new filter element should be opened and inserted into the plastic filter element plug. Then hold the filter element in your hand and insert it vertically into the bottom plate of the filter element seat. After inserting the filter element properly, fasten the triangular cover plate, press it tightly, and then install the upper head of the container.

  Ii.Precautions for security filters

  1, When operating the equipment, pressure shock should be prevented and reverse pressurization is strictly prohibited.

  2, If the filter is temporarily out of service, do not dry the filter element but soak it in an appropriate solution(Or inject the solution into the container)Drain the solution and clean thoroughly before reuse.

  3, If steam is applied to the filter, first drain the condensate water in the steam pipeline, and the steam pressure should not exceed0.1MPaAt the same time, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet chambers of the filter shall not exceed0.015MPaIf steam is applied to a wet filter element, the liquid absorbed by the filter element should be completely drained with clean compressed air before passing through the steam; otherwise, the filter element will be damaged when passing through the steam.

  4, Before using the equipment, please read the user manual that comes with it carefully.

  5, Before the equipment is installed and put into use, it should be kept away from fire sources, properly stored, and protected from rust and damage.

  6When the equipment operates under conditions where the temperature is below zero degrees, the tank and pipelines should be insulated.

  7, The equipment is not allowed to be subjected to open flame welding or any damage to the anti-corrosion coating.

  8The equipment can only be installed, used and maintained by trained and dedicated personnel. The operators should receive appropriate training.

  9The main source of danger for this equipment is mechanical danger.

  Its function is to prevent leakage from the previous process from affecting the next process, thereby ensuring the water inlet requirements of the next process with certain precision requirements. To prevent the high-pressure booster pump, membrane components and valves from being damaged by particles in the raw water, operations must be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements; otherwise, it will affect the service life of the membrane components. Users must pay close attention. The precision filter is used to determine whether it has failed or needs cleaning based on the pressure difference before and after. When the pressure difference exceeds10PsiAt that time, it indicates that the filter element should be cleaned. If the requirements are not met, the filter element needs to be replaced.

  V.Precision filterMaintenance andMaintenance

  1The core component of a precision filter is the filter element, which is made of special materials and is a vulnerable part that requires special protection.

  2When the precision filter has been in operation for a period of time, the filter element accumulates a certain amount of impurities. At this point, the pressure drop increases and the flow rate decreases. It is necessary to clean the impurities inside the filter in a timely manner and also wash the filter element.

  3When cleaning impurities, special attention should be paid to the precision filter element. It must not be deformed or damaged; otherwise, the purity of the medium after filtration by the reinstalled filter element will not meet the design requirements.

  4Some precision filter elements cannot be reused multiple times, such as bag filter elements and polypropylene filter elements.

  5If the filter element is found to be deformed or damaged, it must be replaced immediately.
